Despite Romelu Lukaku's return, Chelsea are looking for another forward

Despite spending a club record £97.5 million to re-sign Romelu Lukaku during the previous transfer window, Chelsea are reportedly looking to acquire a new centre-forward next summer.

Lukaku was brought back to Stamford Bridge by the Blues from Inter Milan, and he has four goals in six games for Thomas Tuchel's team this season.

Chelsea want to buy a 'partner' for Lukaku, according to Fichajes, but they will have to sell at least one attacker to do so.

This season, Kai Havertz and Mason Mount have mostly featured in support of the Belgian, but an injury to the latter has allowed Timo Werner to start the Premier League match against Manchester City on Saturday.

When a release clause in Erling Braut Haaland's Borussia Dortmund contract becomes active next summer, Chelsea is said to be interested in signing him.

However, it appears that the London club will have to compete with the likes of Real Madrid, Man City, and Manchester United for the Norwegian international's signature.
