We know what it takes to beat Manchester City,' says Thomas Tuchel.

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has stated that his team must give their "best effort" to overcome Manchester City in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

The Blues, who are top of the Premier League table after five games, will welcome Man City to Stamford Bridge in the hopes of making it four wins in a row in all competitions.

Chelsea defeated Pep Guardiola's side in the FA Cup semi-final and Champions League final last season, as well as winning the league 3-1 at the Etihad Stadium.

Tuchel stated that his team "does not require a miracle to win," but that they must prepare for "one of the most important tests in European football" this weekend.

"We understand what it takes to succeed. To win, we don't need a miracle, but we do need to give it our all.

This is difficult, and perhaps the confidence it provides is a result of it. It will, nevertheless, be one of the most important tests in European football "Tuchel stated to the press.

Chelsea leads Man City by three points in the table, with the defending champions having already dropped five points in the first few weeks of the season.
